As the holiday season approaches so does the chill of the winter weather. For those of you who love the warm Caribbean sun, great golf and all of the comforts of home, Southworth Golf is happy to extend an invitation for you stay at one of our four beautiful townhomes available for rent in La Romana, The Dominican Republic. The townhomes are located in the gated golf community of the La Estancia Golf Resort, which features a spectacular 18-hole P.B. Dye-designed championship course perched on a cliff high above the scenic Chavon River.
 
Each of these spacious townhomes can comfortably accommodate a foursome, two couples or a family. A full breakfast can be arranged in your unit daily; tee-times can be arranged in advance, as well as activities in the area such as snorkeling and swimming at Bayahibe Beach, deep sea fishing, trap shooting, boating or equestrian activities.

The special rate for friends of Southworth Golf is $250* per unit/per day through April 30, 2010.

     The first floor of each beautifully appointed townhome features a welcoming social area and

     of the townhomes contain three more bedrooms including a studio and exquisite master suite.

     Guests are afforded every convenience along with access to La Estancia's facilities and amenities

     including tennis, swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse and golf course.  

THE BREATHTAKING NATURAL SURROUNDS

       Just minutes from La Romana International Airport, the resort is located near one of the country's

       most attractive locations. Altos de Chavon, inspired by Mediterranean hillside villages, is a

       nearby artist community, complete with amphitheater, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and

       a museum. The area is also known for its palm fringed beaches. Bayahibe Beach, located in a

       quaint fishing village, is known for its powder fine sand and crystalline waters perfect for  

       snorkeling, exploring coral reefs or just soaking in the sun.
