Southworth Development Purchases Creighton Farms Southworth Development has purchased Creighton Farms, a 184-unit residential golf community located outside of Washington D.C. The property includes the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature designed 18-hole golf course known until recently as The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Creighton Farms.   Prior to the sale, the Seller and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company mutually agreed that the Golf Club would no longer be branded or operated by Ritz-Carlton. The golf course will be renamed The Club at Creighton Farms and will be managed and operated by Southworth Golf.     Southworth will waste little time getting to work and plans to inject several million dollars into the project to assure that the property continues to be developed at the highest standards. Plans are underway for construction of an elegant new clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, while work will soon begin on the construction of a roof for the outdoor terrace area at the existing Golf House. In addition, The Club at Creighton Farms recently received some much deserved recognition from three of the golf industry's biggest and most prestigious publications. Southworth Golf will continue to be focused on providing personalized club management and construction management services to some of the finest property in the world.   Two Southworth Construction Managed  Golf Courses on 2009 PGA TOUR We are proud to share with you that two courses construction-managed by Southworth Golf, The Liberty National Golf Club and Trump International Puerto Rico, will serve as host courses on this year's PGA TOUR.   Liberty National will host the 2009 Barclays Classic from August 27 to 30 while Trump International just completed hosting the Puerto Rico Open from March 9 to 15. Southworth Welcomes a Few New Faces   Recently, Southworth Development added a few new faces to its headquarter's staff in Newton.     Olga Brik, Development Associate, is a recent graduate of Babson College and  will be overseeing the sales of real estate at The Overlook at Renaissance as well as various real estate matters including Cat Island, The Bahamas and Machrihanish, Scotland.     Alex Jansen, Project Accountant, is a recent graduate of Boston College. Alex has been hired to work on Creighton Farms, Southworth Development's new community in Aldie, VA.     Jason Paul, Director of Operations, brings 16 years of expertise and knowledge of the golf industry to Southworth.   He   will be responsible for leading Southworth Golf's operations.   A highly accomplished General Manager and Golf Course Operator, Jason has received many accolades from his peers in the industry including one of Golf Inc.'s Most Admired Operators – 2007 and   Marriot Golf's General Manager of the Year in 2002 and 2004.     Leah Sundin, Marketing Associate, is a recent graduate of Plymouth State University.
